Dr. Phillip Newton

Dr. Phillip Newton has served as pastor of Long Branch Church since 2007. His dedication to the Christian faith and our church congregation is a strength we all benefit from each and every day.

Pastor Phil received his B.S. from Lee University in 1979, his M.Div. from Church of God Theological Seminary in 1983 and his D.Min. from Erskine Theological Seminary in 1993. Besides leading Long Branch Church in worship and study, he serves as an Associate Professor and the Christian Ministries Chair at Heritage Bible College in Dunn, N.C.

Pastor Phil and his wife Traci have a wonderful daughter, Madison. He also has two grown children, Lauren and Hunter.
